ABSTRACT

An international scourge that stunts both societal and economic growth is gender discrimination. Although social opportunities for women have multiplied in recent decades, their place in the family structure has remained constant. Little has changed in their role in running the household and raising children. As a result, the path toward achieving gender equality continues to be challenging. This paper will investigate the Three Child Policy that was introduced in 2021 from the perspective of Chinese women concerning the current gender disparity. Likewise, it will also offer some policy suggestions for reducing the gender disparity of working mothers and thus promoting the purpose of the Three Child Policy.
