On behalf of all members of C3S, it is a great pleasure to wish all our readers and supporters a Happy Vijaya Dashami. May the season of festivities bring a lot of happiness, peace and prosperity and good health in these very difficult Covid times. It is customary on this day to start a new initiative, a new process of learning and also to celebrate the victory of good over evil.
I am very happy to inform the readers commencing this auspicious day, we in C3S are starting a ‘Tamil section of C3S’ to be able to reach out to the Tamil audience around the world. To start with we will start uploading articles on China written by Sri BS Raghavan our Patron, Colonel Hariharan a former Military Intelligence official, Ms Uma Balu who specialises in soft power application for promoting bilateral relations and others from C3S. This is the need of the hour as many regional languages have more readership base compared to even English and do not have exposure to the current thinking/informed analysis on strategic, economic, diplomatic and political issues of relevance in the context of China studies.
While C3S will explore ways to translate important articles and analysis into Tamil, may I also request those proficient in Tamil to both write on India – China issues and also take up translation work of important writings from well-known authors around the world.
